Proliant’s purified Bovine Gamma Globulin is produced from bovine plasma utilizing a proprietary three-step purification process.  Predominantly comprised of IgG, having a molecular mass of 150 – 200kDa, the product is prepared as a low salt, lyophilized, white powder and is primarily utilized as a passive blocker.   Bovine Gamma Globulin is an effective tool to help address Heterophilic Antibodies that may lead to false positive and reduced immunoassay performance by depleting the concentration of these interfering antibodies.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Highly soluble white cast lyophilized powder.  A solution of up to 3% in de-ionized water is clear to slightly hazy and virtually particulate-free.
